The seven biggest swing problems in golf.
And how you can learn to fix them.
Problem # 1 : Golf Slice
A golf slice shot, is where the ball curves severely from left-to-right through the air and will very often miss the fairway, and lead to high golf scores. As most of us know, the golf slice is probably the most common fault in all of golf, particularly for the recreational player. Read More
Problem # 2 : The hooked shot
This one may start straight but it doesn’t stay that way. Your ball may end up out of bounds if you’re lucky and through somebody’s window if you’re not.
Hooking the ball may be the result of simply standing in the wrong place. In this lesson, you’ll see how two extra golf balls can fix that.
The other good news? If you’re hooking the ball, you probably don’t have to worry about your slice.
Problem # 3 : Pushing the Ball
How bad could this be? After all, the shot feels good. And the ball goesstraight.
Only problem is it goes straight to the right. And you don’t know if it’s because of the way you’re aiming or a Gypsy curse.
In this lesson, you’ll see how to tell if you’ve aimed toward your target and you’ll learn how to stop pushing your shots.
Problem # 4 : Pulling It
This one feels good, too. Like a nice, solid golf shot.
But that ball is going left, friend. And unless that’s where you want it to go, that’s a problem.
In this lesson, you’ll see how getting your alignment right can keep the ball from going to the left. You’ll also be able to spot some adjustments you need to make in your swing to put an end to your pulled shots.
Problem # 5 : Fat Shots
Nobody likes a fat shot. It can hurt like a sonofagun when your club hits the ground before it strikes the ball.
And besides that, it’s kind of embarrassing when the divot goes farther than your ball.
Fat shots come from reversing ball – turf contact. Often that’s the result of not staying tall in the downswing.
Watch this lesson a few times… go out and practice… and you’ll stop”lowering” yourself to a shot that’s fat.
Problem # 6 : Topping the Ball
If you’re consistently hitting thins, your problem may start at the top.
The top of the ball, that is. It happens when the bottom of the club head comes in contact with the top of the ball.
At best, you’ll get a thin shot instead of one that soars above the fairway. At worst, you’ll get a pathetic dribbler that’s downright embarrassing.
In this lesson, you’ll see how the student’s posture contributed to her problem of topping the ball. Maybe that’s your problem, too.
If it is, you’ll see how to fix it. And then you’ll fix it.
Problem # 7 : Lack of Distance
Every golfer alive wants to hit farther.
Yet sometimes we fail to put our full strength behind our drives because we get in our own way.
In this lesson, you’ll see how to achieve maximum distance by learning to simply “stay wide” and making a minor adjustment with the clubface.
How much distance will that be?
Some golfers gain 30 yards or more. Some about a club. It all depends on your physical condition, your natural ability, and of course, how much you practice.
But I can tell you this: With this lesson and about an hour’s practice, you won’t have to rely on your fairway metals to reach the green in regulation any longer. You can put them on eBay.
