Hitting fairway woods is your key to birdie opportunities, so learn the proper method, and you will be well on your way to lower golf scores. Do you know what you can do to make your fairway play better?

Before you decide to take your next fairway shot, you must check everything out. Imagine in your mind how you’re going to do it. In addition to knowing how to play, you should also know where you’re going to put the shot. To do this, you have to concentrate and keep a steady eye on the prize. Study the lie that you’re on. You have to determine in what direction it’s going in. Is it up, down, tight or fluffy?
